Stuck on the beach, bogged down in the dunes or with your wheels deep in mud? That is not a standard tow job. A regular tow truck cannot reach you, and spinning the wheels only makes it worse. For off-road recovery like this we deploy 4x4 recovery vehicles with a winch that can handle sand, mud and soft ground.

We recover cars, vans, campers and trailers from sand, dunes and sand tracks, from waterlogged fields, forest and construction sites, from verges and ditches, and from snow in winter. Using a winch, recovery straps and track mats we pull your vehicle out without further damage. If it can no longer be driven, we tow it straight on to your garage or home address.

Car stuck in sand, on the beach or in the dunes

Sand is treacherous: the more throttle you give, the deeper the wheels dig in. This often happens at beach access points, on sand tracks, in beach car parks and in the dunes. We pull out your car, camper or van with a 4x4 and winch, even with a caravan or trailer attached.

Stuck in mud, a field or a verge

After rain, a car quickly sinks into a waterlogged field, a forest track, a festival site or a construction site. We also safely recover cars that have left the road and ended up on the verge or half in a ditch. Recovery straps and track mats prevent further damage to your vehicle and the ground.

How does off-road recovery work?

Call us and share your location; a pin or the nearest road is enough. We send a 4x4 recovery vehicle that can handle the terrain. On site we assess how the vehicle is stuck and pull it back to solid ground with a winch and straps. If the car can no longer be driven, we tow it on to your garage or home address.

My car is stuck in sand or mud. What should I do?

Stop accelerating right away: spinning wheels only dig in deeper. Switch on your hazard lights, stay in a safe place and call us with your location.

Can a regular tow truck reach the beach or a field?

Usually not. A regular tow truck sinks into sand or mud itself. That is why we use a 4x4 with a winch for off-road recovery.
